Gallery: Player of the Year Awards 2015-16!

The Barnet FC Player of the Year Awards went off with a bang on Saturday night, following the Bees convincing 3-0 victory over Leyton Orient!

Congratulations goes to Jamie Stephens who was named Barnet FC Player of the Year 2015-16 at the awards ceremony, brought to you by Avari Events and sponsored by the London Trophy Company.

The Bees goalkeeper picked up a total of four awards: Player of the Year, Members’ Player of the Year, Norwegian Player of the Year and Players’ Player of the Year.


Elliott Johnson was voted Young Player of the Year, while Luke Gambin picked up two awards – Most Improved Player and Goal of the Season v Dagenham & Redbridge (A).

Staff at The Hive selected Bondz N’Gala as their Clubman of the Year, with Swedish supporters choosing John Akinde as their top player this season.

The Lester Finch Trophy was awarded to Chris East, who sadly passed away last month.

Groundsman Mikey Mair also won Employee of the Year for his hard work at The Hive throughout the campaign.

Finally, Graham Stack was named as the club’s PFA Community Ambassador of the Year, by Community Trust manager Steven Barron.

Special thanks goes to Bees supporters John ‘Village’ Adkins and Nik Haidar, who helped make Saturday’s event a resounding success!
