Barnet Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of midfielder Oisin Gallagher on a season-long loan from Championship side Lincoln City.
The 21-year-old joins the Bees for the 2026/27 campaign from the newly-promoted League One Champions.
A product of Derry City’s Academy, Oisin moved to England in the summer of 2021, where he signed his first professional contract with the Imps and made his debut for the club in an EFL Trophy fixture the following year, before making his League One debut against Blackpool in January 2024.
Since arriving at Lincoln, the young midfielder has experienced multiple loan spells, including Boston United, where he made a total of 33 appearances, with 27 of those coming in the 2025/26 National League campaign, helping the Pilgrims to a 12th-place finish last season.
Oisin has also represented the Republic of Ireland across a couple of different age groups and most recently scored on his debut for the u21s against Kazakhstan in March.
On getting Gallagher’s signature, Manager Dean Brennan said:
“We’ve been after Oisin for a while and we’ve had to stay patient and plenty of clubs were chasing him, but he decided to choose us.
He’s a perfect fit for what we see him as, a dynamic, athletic midfield player. He can get around the pitch, he’s good on contacts, good on duels and a great presence on the pitch.
It’s a great signing and another one of my countrymen joining us and it’s always good when that happens!”
On linking up with the Bees, Oisin added:
“I had a chat with the Gaffer a few weeks ago and it’s a club that’s ambitious, that are really driven and I feel like it’s the right step for me and the right place for me to come and play my football.
Welcome to Barnet, Oisin!
The deal is subject to the usual League and FA clearances.
