Zac was added to Dean’s defensive options before the 2026/27 League Two campaign after his contract expired at Crewe Alexandra.

The Welsh defender started with the Railywaymen at the age of six and left the club 16 years later, having worked his way through the ranks and going on to make 123 appearances for the Cheshire club.

He went on loan to Kilmarnock in the Scottish Premiership during the 2025/26 season, where he played nine games across all competitions.

Zac also represented England at youth level on 12 occasions and scored twice.
