Crichlow was added to Dean Brennan’s defensive ranks ahead of the club’s 2025/26 League Two campaign and made 22 appearances during his first season in black and amber, netting his first goal in the club’s final home game of the campaign in a 6-2 win over Gillingham.

Previous to signing for the Bees, the defender had already made over 80 appearances in the EFL, including over half a century with Bradford City across two spells, helping the Bantams to achieve League One Status at the conclusion of the 2024/25 campaign.

Prior to that, loan spells with Plymouth Argyle and Peterborough United in the third tier played a key role in Romoney’s development during his time at parent club Huddersfield Town, where he signed his first professional contract.
