Idris Kanu signed for The Bees in September 2022 from Peterborough United. Kanu started his career in the West Ham United academy before joining Aldershot Town in 2016. After one season Kanu then signed for Peterborough United. The forward played 69 games for The Posh including Championship fixtures. Loans at Port Vale, Boreham Wood and Northampton followed before signing for The Bees on a permanent deal last season. Kanu has also represented Sierra Leone at international level.
