Currently one of the two longest-serving players at the club, Collinge has entered his fifth season with the Bees after being picked up from Dover Athletic in the summer of 2022 and has been made official club captain.

As of the conclusion of the 2025/26 campaign, Danny had represented Barnet on 160 occasions, wearing the captain’s armband on plenty of those and has scored 17 goals from defence, including four in the club’s National League title winning campaign.

The Skipper played all but three league games last season due to suspension and scored the equalising goal in a 3-1 win away at MK Dons, the club in which he signed his first professional contract and netted the only goal in a win over Cambridge United a game later.

Our number four has played for England at youth level and also played some of his early football over in Germany with VfB Stuttgart across a three-year spell.
