FIRST SUMMER SIGNING FOR BARNET | RHYS BROWNE

Rhys Browne becomes Dean Brennan’s first signing of the summer after putting pen to paper on a 2 year contract.

Browne arrives at the Hive having spent the last 2 seasons at Woking FC, to further bolster Dean Brennan’s attack for the 24/25 season.

The versatile 28-year-old joins Barnet having seen the Bees finish last season’s campaign in 2nd place in the Vanarama National League.

Rhys has previously played for clubs such as Port Vale, Sutton United and Grimsby Town to name a few and has consistently proven himself as a major threat across the pitch.

The experienced and exciting player will bring even more energy to Barnet going forward and is eager to get going.

Upon joining Barnet, Browne said:

“I am really excited to be here and cannot wait to start playing some games.

“I have come here to get goals, assists and to contribute to a winning team – that’s what I’m about, winning.”

Barnet FC Manager, Dean Brennan, said:

“I am absolutely delighted to sign Rhys – he’s the type of player that will get our supporters off their seats.

He’ll bring plenty to our team and I am excited to see him perform and do what we know he is capable of.

He joins us at a great time and his previous experience is perfect for us.”

Welcome to Barnet, Rhys.

The deal is subject to the usual FA and League clearances.
