England C To Travel To Jordan

Paul Fairclough’s England C side will take on Jordan’s Under-23 side in March as the hosts begin preparations for their 2016 Olympic Games Qualifying tournament.

The Three Lions will fly out on Sunday 2 March and a number of Bees will be hoping to board the plane ahead of the game two days later.
Keanu Marsh-Brown and Jake Hyde have both featured for England C this season and Fairclough is looking forward to another exciting trip.
"This is yet another fantastic opportunity for the players and staff to experience a different culture," said Fairclough to www.TheFA.com.
"Nestling in the borders of Lebanon, Israel, Syria Iraq and Saudi Arabia, Jordan has an amazing history.
"It will be important that the travelling squad are given the opportunity to perceive and experience the rich heritage."
Jordan’s World Cup hopes were ended by Luis Suarez’s Uruguay in a final play-off with football hitting new heights in the country and Fairclough believes it will provide the perfect warm-up as the Three Lions head into the International Challenge Trophy.
"We do not know what to expect in terms of style and method, but that is not new for the England C team.
"Football has a universal language and the fixture will be played with enthusiasm and respect.
"It will be perfect in assisting me with preparation for our all-important International Challenge Trophy clash against Slovakia in May.”
