Edgar Davids was extremely disappointed following Barnet’s 2-1 defeat to Salisbury City on Saturday.
The Dutchman was one of two players to be red carded during the defeat on what turned into a day to forget for the Bees despite an encouraging display.
Speaking post-match he stated his belief that the Bees did more than enough to take something from the match.
"I think it was very disappointing especially when you see how well we played overall.
"In the last 25 minutes of the first-half and in the second-half we were the only team playing."
He added: "I am a target but it is ok. I don’t think I am going to play anymore because they are taking away the fun and I want the team to do well.
“If you look at the red cards, some are definitely red cards and some are exaggerated.
“It is hard to complete our tasks when a lot of decisions are against you.”
The club will update all supporters on any further news when we have it.
