Eames – “They’re a fantastic group of men to coach & a credit to the club.”

“We are all delighted.
The players and staff have worked extremely hard this week.

There are still areas we can improve and we will continue to do so.

However, for the next 24 hours we have to look at all the positives from today and embrace the feeling of a clean sheet and 2 goals away from home.

Full credit to the 18 players who travelled. They were very professional and displayed the correct mentality over the past two days.”
John Akinde scored his 25th Bees goal for the season and his 48th Football League goal in a Barnet Shirt to become the clubs all time top scorer.
Rossi was delighted for the striker.
“John has worked very hard for his goals – he has developed into an excellent goal scorer.

It’s a fantastic accolade for him and I’m sure he will want to score even more next Saturday while still cherishing what he has achieved today.”
Rossi went on to highlight how his teams hard work over the past weeks is now paying off.
“Our attitude, mentality, desire and ability to want the ball was evident today.

It’s all down to the players. They come in every morning, want to do better, learn more, work harder and enjoy being a professional footballer.

They are a fantastic group of men to coach and are a credit to the club.”
Rossi finished by looking ahead to the remaining two games and the importance of gaining points from both.
“Every single player that contributed was excellent today.

We want to continue that winning mentality – we want to win every game.

I said this week that there’s three games to go and nine points to play for.
We have three, I want another six.”
