DEVELOPMENT SQUAD TAKE ON COLCHESTER

After suffering an 8-1 defeat to Queens Park Rangers followed by a 4-0 loss at Brighton & Hove Albion the Development Squad are looking to bounce back against Colchester United.
The Bees have struggled in the Barclays Under-21 Professional Development League Two but their progress has been hampered by many eligible players being unavailable for selection.
I recent weeks Jamal Lowe has moved on loan to Boreham Wood and fellow youngster Mauro Vilhete has progressed into the first-team before starting against Southend United.
Colchester fell to a 4-3 defeat last time out against near neighbours Ipswich Town but have impressed this season and are sure to provide a stern test for the young Bees.
The strength of the league and Tuesday’s opponents is further underlined by the U’s pushing close a Town side containing the likes of Jay Emmanuel-Thomas and Scott Loach.
The match will take place at The Hive and kick-off is at 1pm.
