We’re delighted at the fact it’s a home game. That was the one thing that, as a staff, we discussed this morning.
The key for me is securing a home draw. We’re strong at home and we’re happy with how we’re playing at home.
It’s a good draw for the fans as well. Hopefully, we can get a few more through the door that I know will roar us on.
We looked at all the potential draws that we could’ve had and, at this stage of a cup competition, there wasn’t one that I would’ve favoured over another – they’re all difficult.
We’ve drawn Halesowen who are going terrifically well in their league with games in hand and they’re on a fantastic run themselves.
They’ve beaten Maidenhead and Halifax already in this competition on route to the Quarter-Finals.
I wouldn’t underestimate anyone, that’s not how I choose to operate – I wouldn’t disrespect the opponent. I know one or two teams play weakened sides, but that’s not how I work.
It’s a game that we’ll be going full tilt at – I want to win it.
We’ll go out and watch them, do our homework, and put together a game plan for what’s going to be a difficult cup tie.
