We are pleased to confirm the signing of Danny Collinge to the club on a permanent deal!

The central defender joins on a permanent basis following the expiry of his contract at Dover Athletic.

Our newest recruit started out at MK Dons’ academy where his impressive form earned him a place in England’s under 18 team.

He has made over 30 England Youth appearances and featured in the Under 17 European Championship as well as the Under 17 World Cup.

Collinge signed for Colchester United in 2019 following five years in Germany with VfB Stuttgart in Bundesliga II.

Whilst with the U’s, Collinge picked up senior experience with Maldon & Tiptree and AFC Sudbury.

Dean Brennan said: “We have monitored Danny’s progress for a long time and we are really happy to sign him here.

“He is a very strong, technical defender and will add a lot of quality to the squad.”
