CRAWFORD TARGETS WIN

Harry Crawford was in a confident mood ahead of tonight’s trip to the Memorial Stadium to face Bristol Rovers.
The forward joined the club just over a week ago from Dartford and made his debut in the 1-0 defeat against Burton Albion last weekend.
Despite coming away from the Pirelli Stadium empty handed Crawford believes that a lot of positives can be taken into the game against Rovers tonight.
“We can take a lot of positives from the game against Burton last weekend because for the majority of the game we played very well.
“Unfortunately we could not get the ball in the net we created a lot of chances which is very encouraging going forward; hopefully we can take our chances tonight and take the three points.”
The Pirates have taken ten points from a possible 15 since John Ward took charge and with just one point separating the two sides Crawford is well aware of what is at stake.
“It is a very big game tonight and all of the players understand just how important it is that we come away with a positive result.
“We have worked very hard in training this week and we are very focused so hopefully we can come back with a win and give the travelling supporters something to cheer about.”
The 21-year-old was inches way from opening his Barnet account with his first touch in black and amber but his turn and volley flew inches past the post.
“It was not too far away but it was not meant to be so hopefully I can get on the pitch tonight and grab one.
“I am not sure yet whether I will be involved or not but if I do get minutes on the pitch then I will do all I can to make them count.”
The forward also revealed that he is loving his time with the club and that he has settled in immediately.
“I have loved every minute of my time here,” declared Crawford. “The lads are brilliant, the coaches are brilliant and I am really enjoying myself.
“I have no doubt that this will continue to be the case and if I keep working hard I will learn a lot and keep progressing.”
