Community | The BOBs are on the march

The Barnet Old Boys (BOBs) over 65 walking team made their debut over the weekend, with players up to 80 years young representing them.

The BOBs were joined by sides from Watford, Cheshunt and Dagenham in a friendly round robin tournament at Dagenham Goals, alongside Watford, Cheshunt and Dagenham with more teams expected to join in September.

Hot shot striker Barry Warren led the BOBs attack, scoring two goals.

Elsewhere, the successful over 50s team participated in the Middlesex FA Bobby Moore Fund charity event. In the raffle, Steve Chittenden won 10 Nike footballs for our walking football sessions, as seen below with Andy Perren, the head of the Middlesex FA.
