The Barnet FC Youth Team take on FC Clacton in the second round of the FA Youth Cup on Wednesday night, and with the game taking place at on the hallowed Hive pitch it promises to be a very special occasion.
The U18s are already flying high at the top of their Youth Alliance league table – three points clear of second-placed MK Dons who they take on at The Hive at 10:30 on Saturday – and are now targeting cup success as well.
Coaches Henry Newman and Ross Eames have got their side playing an exciting brand of football so far this season, with their young charges already having scored a staggering 36 goals during their first eleven games of the season.
With the team currently on an eight match unbeaten run, it will be a great chance for all Bees fans to come down and see the next generation of Barnet stars in action – many of whom have already fought their way to the fringes of the first team squad this season.
Kick-off is at 19:30, and with entry just £2 for adults and £1 for concessions – not to mention free for Barnet members – it certainly promises to be an entertaining night under the floodlights so be sure to come on down and watch the future stars of Barnet FC in action.
