Clough makes Barnet switch

Barnet Football Club is delighted to announce the signing of highly-rated defender Charlie Clough from Forest Green Rovers.
The 26-year-old centre-back becomes Barnet’s sixth signing of the January transfer window, joining from the Vanarama National League promotion hopefuls for an undisclosed fee.
Clough has been a virtual ever-present for FGR this season, missing just three games, and leaves the Stroud side second in the National League standings.
A captain at former side Sutton United, with whom he spent two years, Clough moved to The New Lawn in 2015 and helped Rovers reach the National League Play-Off Final where they were beaten by Grimsby Town.
His performances last season saw him voted Supporters’ Player of the Year. In total the 6ft 2in defender made 73 league appearances for Rovers, scoring seven times.
Everyone at Barnet Football Club would like to welcome Charlie to The Hive London.
There will be more from Charlie later today so keep checking barnetfc.com
