BEES VISIT A1 SHOOTING GROUND

Barnet Football Club visited A1 Shooting Ground on Tuesday with the likes of Edgar Davids, Curtis Weston and Graham Stack competing for the ‘Top Gun’ award.
The A1SG is set over a beautiful 40 acre site located in the Hertfordshire countryside and is the ideal location for corporate events.
Weston and Andy Yiadom came out on top as they fired themselves to 19 out of 30 but the former was named the winner due to a higher score on the more advanced sections of the course.
Post-shoot, goalkeeper Stack spoke highly of the event and the way in which it brings the players together off the football pitch.
“I thought the whole event was brilliant!
“I was gutted I did not win because I love winning and I am very competitive but I did get beat,” explained Stack. “I was the only person in my group to get five out of five, however I missed my last nine shots which was very disappointing.
“Results aside it was a very good day, it was great for team bonding and morale and everybody thoroughly enjoyed it.”
There were even allegations of match fixing with Stack left wondering how Chiro N’Toko displaced him to fourth in a group dominated by Jake Hyde and John Oster.
“I scored the cards and for Chiro I put three plus three down with a total of six but what people have done is added three, three and six for a total of twelve, there is no way Chiro got twelve.
“He did not beat me and I am not having that in a million years,” joked Stack. “Not a chance!”
The shooting ground, run by Claudio and Theresa Capaldo, provided the training ground for Team GB’s shooting team for the 2012 London Olympics, they also sponsor a pitchside board at Underhill.
They can offer group packages and numerous discounts, to find out more check out Saturday’s match day programme advert, call 020 8441 9986 or visit www.a1sg.co.uk.
