The friendly, which kicks off at 3pm at Maidstone’s Gallagher Stadium, will be the Bees’ first match since the appointment of Rossi Eames as head coach.
The Kent side have just completed their first season in the fifth tier of English football, having fought their way up through the leagues following the original club’s demise in 1992.
The first Maidstone United won promotion to the Football League in 1989 – two years prior to the Bees – but resigned from the competition and went into liquidation due to crippling debts.
Barnet’s warm-up programme for the new EFL season is now taking shape, with Premier League side Swansea City visiting The Hive on Wednesday 12th July (kick-off 7.45pm).
The Bees also host a West Ham United XI on Saturday 15th July (3pm) and travel to Braintree Town on Tuesday 25th July (7.45pm).
Ticketing details for the Maidstone game and the remainder of our pre-season schedule will be announced in due course.
