Barnet Football Club are delighted to confirm the signing of Dominic Vose on a one-year deal.
The 19-year-old, who was able to sign after the conclusion of the January transfer window, made three appearances for West Ham United’s Under-21 side this season before being released by the club in December.
The promising youngster signed his first professional contract with the Hammers on his 17th birthday and regularly stood out as one for the future in Tony Carr’s exceptional Academy of Football.
After a difficult six months the forward-thinking midfielder admitted he now just wants to get his head down and play football.
“It is great to be back with a club and I am very much looking forward to my time here, now I just want to get my head down and help the team.
“People have known about me for a long time but my career has come to a bit of a standstill so hopefully I can now get it back on track.“
Vose is also confident that once he is up to speed and has regained his match fitness that he can break into and cement his place within Edgar Davids’ first-team.
“The club is moving forward both on and off the pitch so hopefully I can break into the first-team and start playing games on a regular basis.
“The facilities are outstanding for a League Two side I was very impressed it is a privilege to train here every day.”
The midfielder also revealed a tremendous hunger by stating that he is relishing being back in a first-team environment.
“I was on trial at Stoke City and they wanted me to go back but I got a call and decided to come down here.
“It has been really enjoyable so far and it is great to be getting up every day and coming here to play football.
“It is great to be back in football and I hope this is the start of a successful period for me and the club.”
