BEES RETURN TO ACTION

Refreshed and recharged, that must be the hope of all Barnet fans when the Bees return to League action on Saturday against AFC Wimbledon at Underhill. The Bees were without a match last week caused by their early elimination from The FA Cup at the hands of Oxford United in the 1st Round.
But being without a game for two weeks could be beneficial says Joint Head Coach Mark Robson, “This could mean that legs are fresher and that the bumps and bruises that you pick up during the season have had longer than you normally get to sort themselves out.”
The Bees will play five matches in December and then begin the New Year with home matches against Aldershot Town and Bradford City.
AFC Wimbledon are just three points above Barnet. Both sides have played 20 matches but the Wombles are in 21st place with the Bees currently residing in 24th spot.
It has to be hoped that John Oster is available for selection as he was looking as if he had formed a more than useful combination in midfield with Edgar Davids. Oster has missed all the matches in November and he last featured in the 1-0 away win at Chesterfield in late October.
If you are unable to be in person at Underhill tomorrow then the Barnet Player service will be offering full match commentary. Back behind the mike again will be Karl Bates who has now returned to match fitness after a few weeks out. Welcome back Karl.
Tomorrow’s match programme includes features from Mark Robson, Clovis Kamdjo with Paul Fairclough writing emotionally around the recently deceased Mitchell Cole. The programme also contains detailed analysis of our opponents, enough statistics to impress Grigori Perelman, the unique Reckless Guides to faraway places like Ware, Dagenham and Redbridge and much more. The perfect aid to enjoying the match at Underhill hopes the Editor.
