Bees head to Forest Green Rovers on opening day

Rossi Eames’ side have been handed the role of first-ever EFL opponents for Forest Green, who won the National League play-off final in May.

The Bees’ last visit to the Gloucestershire club came in September 2014, when Bondz N’Gala struck late on to secure a 2-1 victory.

After the opening day trip to the New Lawn, Barnet have two home derby games, with Luton Town visiting The Hive on 12th August and Stevenage a fortnight later – sandwiching an away game at Crewe Alexandra.

The Bees lock horns with former FA Cup winners Coventry City for the first time on 7th October at The Hive, with the return trip to the Ricoh Arena scheduled for 10th March.

Barnet’s festive offerings include a Boxing Day trip to Cambridge United and a home clash with Swindon Town on New Year’s Day, while Easter Monday sees us travel to Stevenage.
