Barnet FC is embarking on an exciting new period of development both on the field and off the field. Our Academy players are encouraged to move away from home and live in the local area, and we are currently seeking Host Families to work with the Club who are able to provide good quality accommodation in a safe home environment for them.

We would like to offer our players placements that vary from short-term to long term, with some specialist accommodation offering short notice limited accommodation for trialists and their families or holiday cover for other Host Families.

In line with the development of the club’s training facility in Edgware, we are particularly interested in hearing from families within a two mile radius of The Hive on Camrose Avenue.

Barnet FC is committed to safeguarding the welfare of all young players who are registered with the Club, and expects all accommodation providers to share the same commitment. All Host Families & members of households participating in this scheme over the age of 16 will be required to undertake a DBS check, and may be required to attend information and training events. Applicants will, in addition, need to demonstrate that the accommodation meets certain safety standards.
