Barnet will take on the 2012 Cypriot First Division champions AEL Limassol at The Hive on Saturday 3rd August 2013. 

The club have an extremely rich footballing history having won Six First Division titles and six Cypriot Cups, they are currently ranked 73rd in the Club World Rankings by IFFHS.

They have also enjoyed success on a European stage, competing in last season’s UEFA Europa League after narrowly missing out on a place in the Champions League, losing 3-2 to Anderlecht in a Qualifying Play-Off.

During the 2012/13 season they were managed by former Portugal international Jorge Costa, who was captain of Jose Mourinho’s Champions League winning FC Porto side. 

However, Costa departed at the end of the season and was replaced by former Angola national coach Lito Vidigal. 

Their squad currently includes former Fulham & Portugal striker Orland Sa and Cypriot Internationals Marios Nicolaou & Christos Theophilou.

Kick-off will be at 3pm and the match IS included in our two for one pre-season offer.
