Barnet FC players visit local school

On Thursday, Barnet FC & The Hive Foundation visited St Teresa’s Catholic Primary School for an afternoon of fun, laughter, and a real insight into life as a professional football player.

Barnet FC 1st team players Jerome Okimo and Connor Smith were warmly greeted by over 150 school children and proceeded to explain what life is like to play football.

Okimo and Smith spoke about their daily routine, life on the team bus and the thrills of winning a trophy.

The players then answered an array of different questions from the floor and created a buzz in the room when being forced to decide between either Messi or Ronaldo.

Students asked what the players ate, how many goals they scored and what they hope to achieve by the end of the season.

After the Q&A the players were delighted to sign autographs for the pupils before they headed back to class!
