After a well-deserved 3-0 victory last Friday against Barking FC, the U19s went all the way to penalties yesterday against a strong Chelmsford side after a 1-1 score line at 90 minutes.
The bees conceded just before half time, to go in 1-0 down against the run of play.
And after a strong team talk responded tremendously, equalising in the 75th minute from the individual effort of Kai Udofot-Torres.
As the final whistle blew, the team felt there may have been a missed opportunity with numerous chances squandered in that second half.
However, this didn’t impact their confidence with Pablo Kalamaras, Kai Udofot-Torres, Rushaun Daniels and Lucas Georgiou going four from four at the penalty spot.
And David Nistor coming out on top in the net saving 2 of his 5 penalties.
