16.32: GOAL! Barnet pull one back as Hyde glances home Yiadom’s excellent cross. Game on at The Hive…Â
16.25: Gray and Guttridge have both gone clear and missed but Barnet have stepped it up in the last five minutes. Just under 25 minutes to play.Â
16.13: Luton have picked up where they left off in the second period and they look hungry for more goals. It has to be said they are by far the best side Barnet have faced this season in the Skrill Premier so it will be interesting to see how the Bees react in the second 45.Â

16.09: The teams are back out at The Hive where 10-man Barnet have a massive task on their hands if they’re to comeback from 2-0 down against Luton Town. No news yet on Jonathan Smith but we will update yo when we have it.Â
15.50 HALF-TIME Barnet 0-2 Luton Town
15.44: It has all turned incredibly sour at The Hive as both sets of players and coaches clash following a crunching tackle from Nurse on Smith. The referee is quick to try and defuse the situation by showing Nurse a yellow card as Smith, who looks in bad shape, received treatment. Meanwhile Luton manager John Still sent a torrent of abuse towards the referee who subsequently changed his mind and decided to show a red card to Nurse, despite booking him just moments before. Smith has now been replaced Robinson and we wish him all the best.
15.38: Somebody needs to tell the Bees Christmas is over because they are all over the place at the moment. Luton again come piling forward and the ball finds Lawless in the middle of the box, he is then allowed the time and space to turn, take a touch and then three more before smashing the ball just wide.Â
15.36 It should be game over at The Hive and has it not been for Jack Saville it would have been as the defender clears the ball off the line twice in 30 seconds.Â
15.34: GOAL! Luton Town double their lead as Alex Lawless cuts inside past Yiadom and fires the ball low into the corner. Poor from Barnet who are continuing to give Luton far too much time on the ball.Â
15.29: Barnet have responded well to going a goal down but they’re failing to make their possession count and Tyler hasn’t been called into action since Hyde’s header.Â
15.22: GOAL! Luton Town take the lead as Barnet concede possession in their own half and they are punished as Gray gets in behind and measures a low cross to the back post where Benson smashes the ball home. Barnet 0 Luton Town 1
15.16: CHANCE! Luton Town waste a superb chance to take the lead as Joe Davis somehow fails to convert from just two yards! The defender was unmarked at the back post and he seemingly had all the time in the world but with the goal at his mercy he headed against the post. Massive let off for the Bees who are yet to find their rhythm.Â
15.10: Another chance for the away side as Benson finds himself unmarked in the box, luckily he volleyed straight at Stack who managed to keep hold of the ball and send Barnet on the front foot.
15.06: Luton respond with a chance of their own as Andre Gray breaks at pace. He cuts in from the right and bursts into the box but David Stephens comes across to clear the danger.Â
15.03: First chance of the match falls to Barnet as Mark Tyler pushes a Luisma Villa shot around the post. From the resulting corner Jack Saville is pushed to the ground but the referee waves play on.
15.00: We’re underway at The Hive where both sets of supporters are in fine voice. A cracking atmosphere here today, let’s hope the match follows in the same fashion…
