Dean Brennan has been announced as the Vanarama National League Manager of the Month for December 2022.
The Bees had a 100% win record in the National League for December. Barnet started the month with a 2-0 win over Wealdstone before leaving it until the final kick of the game to beat Boreham Wood 2-1 in front of the BT Sport cameras on Boxing Day.
Barnet FC Manager, Dean Brennan, said:
“It’s a nice accolade to have, but it is not my award, it’s my staff’s award, players award and supporters award.
“The way our supporters drove us on in that Boreham Wood game for Ryan (De Havilland) to get that last minute winner was immense – a big percentage of that goal came from our supporters and this accolade is for them.”
When asked about the remainder of the season, Brennan answered:
“We’ve set a standard over the last 23 games – there have been some difficult days and there have been some excellent days.
“If we can a similar points per-game that we are doing now (for the second half of the season) we will be delighted.”
