Introducing our new No.5: Marvin Armstrong

Barnet Football Club is delighted to announce the permanent signing of Marvin Armstrong.

Armstrong, who has been at Worthing FC since 2019, joins the Bees as our new No. 5.

The 23-year-old central midfielder has played the last three years at Worthing FC, where he made 88 appearances for The Mackerel Men.

During his final season for Worthing, Armstrong played a pivotal role in securing their promotion to the National League South. The central midfielder will bring an injection of pace into Dean Brennan’s team and has already been introduced to his new teammates.

Upon signing, Marvin Armstrong, said:

“When I heard about the interest, I thought let’s get it done – I’m excited to be here.

“To make my debut at The Hive will be special – It’s a new challenge and I am raring to get going.”

Barnet FC Head Coach, Dean Brennan, said:

“I am delighted to sign Marvin – he is a player I have tracked for a while now and he has the modern-day attributes to create a very successful career for himself.

“He still has plenty to learn, but he fits our model here at Barnet – I am excited to see what he can produce on the pitch.”

Welcome to Barnet, Marvin.

The deal is subject to the usual regulatory processes.
