OPPOSITION DUGOUT
Neal Ardley
Neal Ardley began his playing career as a midfielder for Wimbledon FC – making over 250 appearances in 11 years.
The 49-year-old then went onto play for Watford and Cardiff City before finishing his career at Millwall following a stretch of injuries.
Ardley returned to Cardiff City in 2007 to take charge of their academy before enjoying a successful six-year spell as manager of AFC Wimbledon.
He then spent three years at Notts County before joining Solihull Moors in June 2021.
ONE TO WATCH
James Clarke
Beginning his career with Premier League side Burnley, James Clarke impressed during his time at the academy as he earned a call up for the Republic of Ireland U18s.
After struggling with injuries he was released by the Clarets before joining Mansfield Town in 2019 – where he made his professional debut.
The 22-year-old made 27 first-team appearances for the Stags before looking to add some more game time through a loan spell.
The defender joined the Moors in November 2021 originally on a one-month deal before extending his loan until the end of the season.
On the 14th March 2022, Solihull announced the signing of Clarke on a permanent deal.
