OPPOSITION DUGOUT

Alan Devonshire

Alan Devonshire spent most of his playing days at West Ham United, which is where he won the FA Cup in 1980. The now 65-year-old also won eight caps for England.

Devonshire is seen as one of the best ever players to have donned the West Ham strip and after 14 years at the Irons, he signed for Watford in 1990 where he finished his playing career.

The former midfielder’s first managerial role came between 1996 and 2003 at Maidenhead United before he moved to Hampton & Richmond Borough.

He spent eight years at the Beveree Stadium before joining Braintree Town in 2011.

Devonshire returned to York Road in 2015 which is where he has been ever since.

ONE TO WATCH

Josh Kelly

The 23-year-old signed for Maidenhead United in 2016 for an undisclosed fee after enjoying a loan spell there from Walton Casuals.

Kelly’s performances earned him a first appearance for Northern Ireland’s Under 21 side in 2019.

The right-footed striker is the Magpies’ top goalscorer so far this season having found the net on 14 occasions and could be a real threat if he plays on Saturday afternoon.
