His first coaching job came at Stevenage FC in the youth set-up before moving to Brentford FC where he led the reserves briefly.

The 38-year-old then went to Rotherham as Head of Player Development, but left just one season into his tenure.

After a return to Stevenage, Sarll went to Premier League side Watford FC as the Head of Academy before being appointed Manager of Yeovil Town in 2019.

Sarll got off to an impressive start by taking all points in September 2019 which earned himself the ‘Manager of the Month’ award. Last season he guided them to16th place.
