With just 10 days to go until the big play off eliminator clash with Yeovil Town, training has stepped up a further gear, as Darren Currie ensures his side are well prepared for the match against the Glovers. 

The Bees number 23 was quick to mention just how valuable Currie’s sessions have been and ensured us that everyone will be in the best position possible for next Saturday’s game.

“He (Currie) wanted to get firing as quick as possible, so did we. His attention to detail in the training sessions has been second to none, so we just want to get going now and see what happens.

“The way we ended before lockdown we were confident we’d make the play-offs. So now we are here, with have the opportunity to go up now, so now we need to push. We need to make sure that we work hard enough and don’t have any regrets.”

The matches will, of course, take place behind closed doors and the eeriness around the stadiums has been particularly prominent since the resumption of the Premier League and EFL Championship. 

However, Tutonda takes a more positive view to the change of surrounding and feels it could play into his own and his Bees teammates favour come kick off next Saturday. He feels the ethic of the team on and off the pitch could be a crucial difference going into the play-off campaign

“For me personally I think it is probably easier playing without a crowd! I don’t think there will be any excuses from our camp, it’ll be pure hard work and hopefully, we can get the job done.

“We have obviously lost a few of the boys which was a bit of a hit. but now we have to go to war with who we have and I back all the boys here completely. We cant wait to start.  

“We’ve been working hard since we come back in. we cant wait to get going now.”
