With Brazil leading 2-0 thanks to goals from Leverkusen’s Paulinho and Leipzig’s Matheus Cunha, Jack Taylor entered the game in the 66th minute.
Ireland will face Mexico in Saturday’s 3rd-4th Place Play-Off taking place in Salon-de-Provence, kick off at 12:30 GMT.
