Head Coach Graham Westley named an unchanged XI and his side took the lead within the first two minutes. Ryan Watson’s inswinging corner was poked home from 6-yards out by Ricardo Santos.
The Bees were the much better side in the first half and almost doubled their lead when Ryan Watson’s corner fell to Shaq Coulthirst who’s fired a low shot but forced Scott Flinders into a good save.
After the break, Cheltenham were more organised in attack and created several dangerous attacks. ‘Keeper Craig Ross’ attempted punch struck the back of Adebayo and went narrowly wide of the post.
The equaliser came through Mohamed Eisa. A cross failed to be dealt with effectively, Adebayo headed the ball to Eisa who made no mistake from close range.
Shortly before the final whistle, a free kick routine caught the Bees off guard but Dawson fired over.
In stoppage time, Ryan Watson’s corner found Dan Sweeney but his glanced header went inches wide of the far post. At the other end, Adebayo was denied by a good save from the legs of Craig Ross.
