Barnet Under-21 Head Coach Dean Selvey praised the attitude of the Bees’ senior players following Tuesday’s 1-0 friendly win over Luton Town.
A strong Bees side, which included Bira Dembele, Luke Coulson, Dan Sweeney and David Tutonda, overcame the Hatters thanks to Nana Kyei’s fine free-kick.
"It was a really competitive game and one which I really enjoyed," Selvey said.
"They brought a strong team and we had a strong team which involved some first-team players.
"Sometimes with these fixtures you get players who drop down and don’t give it their all or think: ‘I can’t be bothered with this’. But every single player put in a really good shift.
"If you look at the balance of chances we probably shaved it. They had some as well but it was a really good game."
