Good morning.

Late last night we agreed a deal with Alie Sesay – a young player from Leicester City.

He is 21 years old and can play anywhere across the back four or in central midfield.

He’s a good player for us to pick up and he’ll be involved straight away with us tomorrow.

Barnet FC are pleased to announce that Sierra Leone international Alie Sesay has joined the club from Leicester City.

The defender arrives at The Hive on an 18 month contract, having captained the Foxes’ Under 21 side on a number of occasions last season.

Alie has two caps for Sierra Leone, and helped the Leone Stars to a clean sheet against Cameroon during 2015 African Cup of Nations qualification.

The 21-year-old played three times while on loan at League One Colchester United in 2014.

He also made six appearances on loan at Cambridge United earlier this season.
