A late equaliser from John Akinde helped Barnet to a 2-2 draw against Accrington Stanley.
Billy Kee opened the scoring for Accrington by slotting home a low cross in the 55th minute, before Matt Crooks powered home a second with 17 minutes on the clock.
Luke Gambin converted a Akinde cross to bring the Bees back into the game in the 79th minute, before the Bees top scorer levelled things up in the last minute of normal time.
Barnet started the game strongly but it was Accrington who had the first clear chance of the match – Rommy Boco’s shot was acrobatically saved by Jamie Stephens on 18 minutes.
Brad Halliday’s low 26th minute drive flew narrowly wide of the left post, as the home team enjoyed a period of possession midway through the first half.
A deflected shot from Tom Champion failed to trouble the keeper in the 35th minute.
Mark Randall’s looping effort was deflected behind for a corner immediately after the break, as both sides went in search of the game’s opening goal.
It was the home side who made the breakthrough, when Kee poked home a right sided cross from inside the Barnet box with 55 minutes played.
A long range shot from Boco then flew wide of Stephens’ right hand post, as the Bees pushed for an equaliser.
The keeper again had to be at his best in the 68th minute – seizing the ball from the feet of Kee, before getting a hand to the forward’s follow-up shot.
Stanley were soon two goals up when Crooks popped up inside Barnet’s area to fire a low shot under the diving Stephens with 17 minutes remaining.
Martin Allen’s side found themselves down to ten men, when a tackle of Hackett left the midfielder unable to return to the pitch.
The Bees pulling one back in the 79th minute, when Gambin converted Akinde’s right sided cross.
Barnet then completed a remarkable comeback when Akinde headed home a Mark Randall free kick in the last minute of the match.
