Young Barnet defender Tom Day has extended his loan spell with Staines Town by a further month.
The right-back will remain with the Swans until the new year after a successful two-month stay at Wheatsheaf Park.
Interim assistant manager Henry Newman said: "He’s had a really good month there and their manager (Drax Hippolyte) is really pleased with him and, as we’ve said with all our young players, the importance of getting experience of playing first-team football in the lower leagues is second to none.
"We’re having people watch him every week. He will have another game on Tuesday night and that will be great for Tom and will certainly aid his development."
Day, who made his Barnet debut at Crawley Town on the final day of the 2015/16 season, has made 11 starts for the Isthmian Premier Division side.
Good luck, Tom!Â
