Keanu Marsh-Brown signs for Forest Green Rovers

Barnet FC can confirm that Keanu Marsh-Brown has left the club in order to sign for Forest Green Rovers on a two-year deal for an undisclosed fee.

The 22-year-old winger – who began his career at Fulham before periods with MK Dons, Dundee United, Oldham Athletic and Yeovil Town – leaves The Hive after just over two years with the club.

Keanu first joined the Bees on a non-contract basis towards the end of the 2012/13 season, scoring the winner on his debut in a 1-0 win away to AFC Wimbledon. Despite Barnet going on to be relegated, his five appearances for the club were enough to be offered a contract by Edgar Davids.

He went on to become one of the Bees’ key players during their first season back in the Conference, finishing up as the club’s top scorer for 2013/14 with thirteen goals as Barnet missed out on the play-offs.

However, he struggled to break into the team last season as Barnet were promoted as champions back to the Football League – making just two league starts in eleven appearances and scoring two goals.

He now joins Forest Green Rovers who will be looking to follow the Bees into League Two after missing out to Bristol Rovers in the Football Conference Play-Off semi-finals last time out.

Everybody at Barnet FC would like to thank Keanu for all of his efforts with the club and we wish him well in the future.
