At an Independent Regulatory Commission hearing today, Barnet’s Andrew Yiadom was fined £1,000, subject to any appeal, and warned as to his future conduct after he admitted breaches of FA Rule E8(b) for misconduct in relation to betting.

Although this was a minor incident that had no relation to Barnet FC it strongly underlines the FA’s commitment to maintaining the integrity of the sport and as a club we fully understand their decision.
Andy is an honest and hard-working professional who will learn from his mistake and ensure the same errors in judgement are not repeated and as a club we will continue to support Andy moving forward.
