Barnet Football Club are pleased to announce the loan signing of Sam Muggleton from Gilligham.

The left-back joins the club on loan for the remainder of the 2013/14 season and he will be eligible to feature in the play-offs should the Bees finish in the top five.

Muggleton is a player that head-coach Martin Allen knows well with the defender making his Gillingham debut under Allen on the final day of the 2012/13 season.

The 18-year-old has made one first team appearance during the current campaign and he is the son of former Leicester City, Celtic and Stoke City goalkeeper Carl Muggleton. 

Sam is eligible to feature for the Bees this weekend against Cambridge United and everybody at the club would like to wish him the very best of luck during his time at The Hive.
