The Hive Community Trust and Barnet football Club are looking for your help to support the local food bank who provide much needed support to the local community.

 

Of 2000 mothers surveyed by Netmums recently, 1 in 5 regularly go without meals to feed their children, 16% are being treated for stress-related illnesses and one third are borrowing money from friends and family to stay afloat. Most mothers stated that their situation is worse than a year ago with less money coming in.     

 

We are asking that all supporters bring one box of their favourite Cereal to the Barnet FC v Forest Green Rovers match on Saturday 5th April. These can be handed in at the Trust Tent next to the main building and entrance to the East Stand from 12.30pm. 

 

Cereals have long expiry dates and can be stored and transported easily. All the players and Staff at The Hive and even Mr Bumble will be supporting this charitable cause on 5th April so get involved!
