MA: “I had a chat with Keanu and he is an outstanding talent who scored 14 goals last season but following discussions with the Chairman and Andrew Adie we have decided to make Keanu available for transfer. As a club we need to increase the funds in the budget, I have explained this to Keanu and he can, without a shadow of a doubt, go on to play in League One and win games.”

MA: “We will be offering Jake Hyde a new one-year contract and discussions are underway. However, Jake has expressed a wish to play at a higher level and his goals over the past two seasons can make that happen. Therefore we are placing Jake on the transfer list we immediate effect to see if there are clubs in the Football League who will pay the necessary compensation. Our chat was honest and to the point and if no one comes in for him then he will be a Barnet player next season.”

MA: “He is a good lad who has worked hard and done well in both the games he has played but I need to bring in another striker and this will push Jamal further down the line.”

MA: “Mark Byrne is out of contract but we will be offering him a new deal at the club when he returns from Dublin following a family bereavement.”

MA: “Talks are currently ongoing with Curtis with a view to him signing a new deal; however both parties are currently looking at their options.”

MA: “Mauro has an option in his contract but as of today I am undecided whether to take Mauro on for another year. We don’t have to make a final decision until May 10th and I will be taking the time to think about it.”

MA: “Nick is a good lad who has done well in all of the games he has played and he would do very well as a number one at Conference level but I felt the team needs the experience of Graham Stack and I felt it is only right to let Nick find another club.”

MA: “I am currently undecided on Freddie. He has done well in both games he has played but at 21 he needs to be playing regular football which I cannot guarantee him. He has a terrific attitude but is at a crossroads because of his age in terms of what direction he should go in.”

MA: “Ahmed is a good player but we will not be taking up his option. He is a top professional and a good bloke so I have invited him back to pre-season where there is a possibility he could sign nearer the time depending on out outgoings in strengthening several positions.”

MA: “We will not be taking up Harry’s option. He has done well in the games he has played for us, He can play in any position but we need to bring another forward in and this would push Harry back down the pecking order. Harry is a diamond bloke and I really hope he goes on to score goals at Conference level.”

MA: “Omar and Kostas have both done a fantastic job since I have been here in helping and supporting me but currently all available funds must go into strengthening the first-team. Both men are excellent at their jobs and will be missed.”

MA: “Dick is currently in Holland having surgery on a tooth and we will be talking to Dick once he has recovered.”

Jon Nurse, Jack Saville, Kieron Cadogan, James Harper have also been released.
