Barnet FC are delighted to announce the signing of striker Sam Hoskins on a short-term loan deal from Yeovil Town.
The 21-year-old is a product of Southampton’s prestigious youth academy, and made his first team debut for the Saints club during the 2011/12 season, making two appearances from the bench in both the Carling Cup and FA Cup as well as featuring in two Capital One Cup games during the following campaign.
During six seasons with the South Coast club he was top scorer for four consecutive years; twice with the U18 side and twice with the U21s.
The young striker was signed by Yeovil in the summer of 2013 ahead of their first ever season in the Championship, and has made seventeen appearances for the Glovers to date.
Hoskins has also enjoyed short loan spells at Rotherham United, where he scored two goals and Stevenage, where he notched one more; as well as a short stint at Preston that was cut short by a training ground injury.
Sam will be available for selection for tomorrow afternoon’s game at home to Altrincham.
