Stevenage defender Andy Iro has extended his loan with Barnet Football Club until 9 February 2013.
Iro has been a regular member of Edgar Davids’ side and enjoyed his finest moment on 29 December 2012 when he netted a 97th minute equaliser against Exeter City to earn the Bees a 2-2 draw.
The 28-year-old joined Stevenage in September 2012 having played the majority of his career in the USA after attending the University of California before being drafted to the Columbus Crewe.
Iro has made five appearances for the club this season and struck up a key partnership with David Stephens.
“I am very happy to have extended my loan because I want to be playing first-team football and I have had the opportunity to do that here.
“We have been on a very good run which will hopefully continue on Saturday against Rotherham United.”
