Melvin Holwijn has left Barnet Football Club by mutual consent after his deal with the club expired.
Holwijn made one appearance for the club against AFC Wimbledon when he replaced George Barker in the 83rd minute on 8 December.
Unfortunately the 33-year-old suffered a series of setbacks during a time where the club was performing significantly well.
He began his career with Dutch side Telstar, making 107 appearances for the club during two spells, and he has also played in Germany and Greece for FC Carl Zeiss Jena and Iraklis Thessaloniki.
Everybody at Barnet Football Club would like to wish Melvin the best of luck in the future.
