Yesterday was a special day for all of those associated with Barnet Football Club as Brazil visited The Hive to prepare for their Wembley friendly against England.

The world’s media and a host of Barnet’s first-team players gathered to watch as the five-time World Cup winners were put through their paces at the Edgware facility.

Some members of the public were also lucky enough to catch a glimpse of A Seleção, some of whom even mounted the fences of the far playing field in a desperate attempt to see their heroes.

Ronaldinho, Neymar and David Luiz were just three of the stars on show as Luiz Felipe Scolari added the finishing touches ahead of tonight’s match.

The visit of the South American giants once again demonstrates the exceptional standard of The Hive’s facilities and excellent progress being made off the field by Barnet Football Club.

Here is to hoping that further progress will be made on the field against Port Vale on Saturday where a valuable three points will hopefully be secured.
