Barnet Ladies will face Queens Park Rangers in the final of the Middlesex Senior Cup after an 11-0 win over Old Actonians.
Helen King grabbed a hat trick, Danielle Murphy scored twice and Gemma Rudman, Stacey Sowden, Holly Sandow, Chontelle Lawrance, Andreia Georgiou and Aofie Hurley also got on the scoresheet.
The Bees made an excellent start to the match with King and Sandow both going close before defender Rudman converted Murphy’s corner to open the scoring.
Sowden made in 2-0 five minutes later from just inside the area before King scored two in six minutes to make it 4-0 with 25 minutes played.
With the first-half coming to a close the Bees showed no signs of slowing up and Sandow got on the scoresheet to make it 5-0 at the break.
Within a minute of the restart the ball was in the net once more Murphy made it six and with one hour played Lawrence got in on the act to make it 7-0.
A double substitution immediately followed with Hurley and Georgiou making their debuts in place of Laura Miller and Sally Wade.
With game won the onslaught continued with Sowden hitting the bar before Georgiou tapped home on her debut after the keeper failed to keep hold of Lawrence’s shot.Â
In the closing stages Murphy doubled her tally and Hurley converted on her debut to take the Bees into double figures.
Lafe Ucht gave away a penalty late on but Sowden failed to convert before King headed home for her hat trick in the final moments of the match to seal an 11-0 win.Â
The Ladies will now face Queens Park Rangers on 2 May 2013 at Uxbridge FC.Â
