Dani Lopez was in a positive frame of mind after making his Barnet debut in the 0-0 draw with Rochdale on Saturday.
The forward started on the left and impressed throughout showing exactly the kind of panache you would expect from an Atletico Madrid Academy graduate.
Speaking post-match the 27-year-old, who is on loan from Stevenage, revealed he has settled instantly and feels right at home.
“It felt really good to get out on the pitch for Barnet and I think that the way the team worked out was really good.
“I very much like the way the team set out to play and I felt very comfortable.”
Lopez continued to elaborate on Barnet’s style of play and admitted he is better suited to life at Underhill than he was at Aldershot.
“Even though Barnet are an English team they play the Spanish way by getting the ball down and playing short passes.
“I can adapt my style of play to suit many types of football but I prefer to play this way than the style I played at Aldershot.”
Bondz N’Gala also joined the club on loan from Stevenage and Lopez expressed his belief that the pair have settled in quickly.
“I am really happy here at Barnet and I think that myself and Bondz have settled in really well.
“The coaching staff and my team mates have been very helpful and I hope that I will continue to enjoy my time here.”
